COUNCIL MEETING JAN 28/93

Money & other things

We talk more about managing our money. Also, someone has an idea about writing a play. Who is interested? Ariel (1), Othel (1), Shell (1, 2), Patience (1), Rebecca (1), Razor  Man (3) a bit. The play would be about being multiple and include music, dance, humour.

Alcohol

We have been drinking less. Yea!!

Shell

Shell says she was feeling rather depressed before the meeting but feels better now. Talking about the issues in our life is very helpful, makes her and others of us feel like we have some control somewhere in our life.

Shell & Black Widow

Shell says they are at loggerheads with each other. Shell feels threatened by Black Widow (3) and very uncomfortable sharing this body and mind with her. She gets scared that Black Widow will take over and people will end up hating us. Black Widow says Shell is a “wimp”.

COUNCIL MEETING FEB 12/93

The Beacon

Shell says she was right about something wrong in our head. Tir (1) says there is a “beacon” in our brain, planted there by our abusers. It stops us from talking.

These meetings

Our meetings have proven more and more difficult as time goes on. Our thoughts and emotions are getting blocked. Our home is a mess, Othel can’t do his projects, Tir needs more medication.

Switching & co-presence

Some of us already knew, others didn’t, that The Controller (2) is responsible for switching and co-presence, although he consults with Old Self (2) about it. How does he choose who can be co-present with others?

We can’t continue our meetings. It may be that we are overwhelmed with information and more so, too much contact with each other.
