These are other multiples’ reasons for creating their alters. Think we got these from a website a long time ago. Some, of course, are the same or very similar to our reasons. Sometimes an alter is created for what seems a very small thing or incident but to the multiple who is already so wounded and vulnerable it is a very big deal and he or she needs to create another alter to deal with yet another wound. And how well it all can work.
